This Week at St. John’s The Resurrection of Our Lord - Easter Morning - April 8, 2007 Welcome! A most heart felt greeting to all, especially to our visitors and guests! People all over the world are drawn into the praise of Him whose rising brings a light to scatter the darkness of our world. The light of Christ that was shining brightly in Bethlehem's stable has been intensified. Three days ago we saw that light more clearly, shining against the dark background of the sins of the world. The resurrection light that shines today witnesses to the universal absolution: It is finished. The Sacrifice is accepted. We are forgiven. We are free! Alleluia!
